- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was there for my pt on my back after having surgery. The pt had me doing exercises that were difficult and painful but I gave it my best. I was asked to turn over onto my stomach. The therapist did not communicate as to why or what she was going to do next. She began to smear what must have been BioFreeze on my back. She then took her fist and pressed along side of my incision which was extremely painful causing me to yell out in pain scaring everyone in there. I was in a terrible amount of pain and then my back muscles began to spasm. When she knew I was in terrible pain & what was happening she wanted me to stretch it out. Really stretch it out?! My muscles were not going to have any part of it. I got my stuff and hobbled out the front door crying in pain. I was in excruciating pain for over an hour after. If she had communicated with me and told me what she was going to do I could have expressed how sensitive & tender I am in that area. It was so unprofessional!
